Hamlet

The first play I was ever in was Hamlet with a lot of the other authors on this blog.  I was playing the roles of: The Player Queen, The Gravedigger and The Ghost.  It was a lot of fun!  I was really scared at first....I went around back stage, and kept telling everyone "Good Luck!" and "Break-a-leg!"  But after I got onstage, I had a lot of fun!

I messed up in one of the scenes... I was getting ready to go out as a different role (The Gravedigger), and then Hamlet said the line that I was supposed to go out on, and I was not paying attention to the what was happening on stage, because I thought that my next role was as The Gravedigger, and then I heard the Stage Manager saying "Ghost....Ghost!"  I looked around backstage, and then I threw on my Ghost Costume over my Gravedigger costume, and walked out onto the stage with my Ghost costume hood on my head, and the rest dragging behind me.  But it all worked out well.
